Ingredients:
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mutton - 1 kg
Salt to taste
Curry leaves - 1 sprig for garnishing
Ingredients for masala:
Dry Red chillies(long) - 10
Peppercorns - 1.5 tsp
Fennel or saunf or sombhu - 1 tsp
Coriander seeds - 1.5 tbsp
Cloves - 3
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Method:
1. Dry roast ingredients for masala on a wok/kadai on medium to low heat.
2. When they turn a deeper hue take off the stove and grind in a mixie to a course powder.
3.In a pressure pan or cooker heat oil
4. Add curry leaves and after it splutters add mutton,salt and masala
5. Add 250 ml water and pressure cook for 10 minutes.
6. Open cooker lid and cook till water has dried and oil separates from meat
